" Our mission is to provide a safe environment for local and visiting youth and adults to come together for fun, cultural, artistic activities and enrichment. "

The Crystal Falls Contemporary Center is a nonprofit organization, founded in 1993, that strives to bring enriching programs to the community of not just Crystal Falls but to the entirety of Iron County and beyond!

Types of classes that the center offers range from art, fitness, cooking, pottery, and more.  The Contemporary Center is always open to new class suggestions.  If you would like to teach for the Contemporary Center, send an e-mail to cfcontemporarycenter@gmail.com.

The Contemporary Center is run by a director as well as a small board of 7 volunteer members who sacrifice their time to keep the center a viable place for the community.   The board takes on tasks in many areas including grant-writing, event planning, administrative duties, teaching of classes, and so much more!

Crystal Falls Contemporary Center names Davis as Director

The Crystal Falls Contemporary Center has selected a new Director, Christina Davis, to help support and grow the programming offered to our community.  Davis made her way to Crystal Falls in 2015, after retiring from the United States Air Force.  Christina has a very diverse background in customer service, management, planning and executing projects.  She was born in Columbus, Ohio to James and Mamie Click. Christina has lived all around the world as a military dependent and then later on as a military member herself.  She has two children, one of whom is special needs.

With the help of the outstanding existing board members, Davis will be focusing on bringing more inclusive/affordable children’s activities to the center and expanding child friendly options for a wider age range of students. Additionally, she will work on increasing class offerings and events while simultaneously creating a more seamless functionality within the Center. Veteran’s may qualify for free or reduced class fees as funding allows. Upholding the Mission Statement  is of great importance. Each activity will be held to the standard set forth in the Crystal Falls Contemporary Center’s statement which reads:

" Our mission is to provide a safe environment for local and visiting youth and adults to come together for fun, cultural, artistic activities and enrichment. "

The CFCC is excited and thankful for the commitment Davis has made to the Center. If you are interested in sharing your talent by leading a class or getting involved in events, please reach out to Christina at cfcontemporarycenter@gmail.com or 907-687-7245.
